n September 25, 2012, World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria will launch, ushering in a new age of exploration and conflict for the Horde and the Alliance. Soon, the lost continent of Pandaria will emerge from legend, bringing with it a host of exciting new game features -- including some challenging and rewarding new raid content.

With the launch fast approaching, Blizzard Insider sat down with Lead Encounter Designers Scott Mercer and Ion Hazzikostas to get an inside look at the expansion’s newest raid instance -- Mogu’shan Vaults -- and the ancient secrets and epic encounters that await players inside.

ince the launch of Diablo III, the developers have been working hard on a number of game updates and following up on player feedback. Some of the most recent changes include a reduction in “wear-and-tear” durability damage on gear (resulting in lower repair costs for players), better drop rates for high-level loot, and lower costs for using the Blacksmith and Jewelcrafter. You can read more about the design philosophy behind these and other changes in an earlier “Ask Me (Almost) Anything” Q&A session with Diablo III designers Jay Wilson, Wyatt Cheng, and Andrew Chambers conducted on Reddit in early June.
